The Limits of the Administrative Political Division (DPA) 2020 of Chile, is a shapefile file of polygons that is part of the work of the DPA Working Group of the IDE Chile, where the following institutions participate: Undersecretary of Regional and Administrative Development (SUBDERE ), the Military Geographic Institute (IGM), the National Directorate of State Borders and Limits (DIFROL) and the National Institute of Statistics (INE). This work is the result of the coordination of the participating institutions to obtain an updated layer of the Political Division of the country, and which results from the union of the layers of international limits of DIFROL, the interior limits of the country of SUBDERE and coastline and IGM islands for the entire country, its reference system is SIRGAS Chile and its representation scale is 1:50,000. It is worth mentioning that this layer does not include the Chilean Antarctic Territory. This file contains the regional division.
